AND we all need to give a BIG round of applause to a lady named Joyce. She helped me late into the night, last night. I removed what ever she told me to and she would go check to see if pop-ups came up. The bummer is I had to get rid of all my widgets. I guess nothing is really free... unless it is from me of course hehehehe.....
Joyce showed me in the agreement you "sign" when you put the widget on you blog you basically agree to let third party ads on you site.

So I guess I will have no cute little widgets. And the one I liked the most , the C-Box, was the last to go.... and it looks like that was the problem all along. I really want to put my slide shows and e-referral back up but I don't think I will. I don't want this to all happen again.
I am going to put up a new poll- Please answer it ever time you visit. And I will put up a new freebie list soon. Probably Monday.

I was having a problem after I downloaded somebody's freebie about a week ago - dunno if it was one of yours - and then my internet was wacky - got a new virus program and things are getting back to normal. You know what? I come to your site all the time and I have never had a real problem. My virus scan has never warned me about your site. It has warned me before but never here. Glad you worked it all out.

Yay! And a big thank you to Joyce. No pop ups this time either! Although, I would still come anyway, you know all about the addiction. I have had my nose stuck in Breaking Dawn since last night and yet I still managed to get off my bottom and come check your blog!
It's hard to believe how rude -- and stupid -- some people can be. It's YOUR fault that she's too stupid to turn on a pop-up blocker? The only times I got pop-ups from your site (and this confused me at first, since my blocker normally works very well) was when I had your site open, but I had gone elsewhere and hit the control button just as your site decided to load a pop-up. I solved that easily enough by grabbing your great links and then closing your site before going to the other sites.
I'm glad you've solved the issue. I'm really surprised that c-box had anything to do with it, as I go to several other sites that use that, and I have no problem with that. Maybe c-box has added some sort of pop-ups recently, or if you have had c-box for quite a while, maybe they've actually removed the bad stuff and it would now be safe for you to download again. Who knows?
